*Spring Break* Clay for Kids
In this special Spring Break edition of Clay for Kids, we are gearing up for spring by designing and crafting a planter or flower pot. Recommended for children ages 6-12 with minimal clay experience, we will learn hand building techniques like slabs, pinch pots, and coils to build our project.
For younger kids, it’s recommended that an adult or older kid helps them out. It’s perfect for parent-child bonding time, and you’ll love having joyful memories with your child.
All supplies are included in the class fee, and aprons are available for use during class. Parents will be contacted when projects have been fired & are ready for pick up— 2-3 weeks after class.

*Spring Break* Kids Painting Open Studio
Have you ever painted with marbles? Or tissue paper? What is gouache?! Our Kid's Painting Open Studio will have multiple painting stations where kids will get to explore different painting materials and techniques. Kids can work their way through all the experiences, or hang out at the one they like best - they get to explore their own way.
Drop off and pick up at any point during open studio. Kids will get to complete 2 projects each hour they hang out with us. The class fee listed covers 1 hour of painting. The purchase of additional open studio time or projects will be discussed at drop off. Drawing and coloring supplies will be provided for those that finish their paint projects quickly.

*Spring Break* Create on Canvas

Skill Level: allThis spring-focused painting experience is designed for children ages 6-12. With the patience of our experienced artist instructors, the step by step guidance provided in class ensures each child will find success in growing their artistic and creative skills.
All supplies are included in the class fee, and aprons are available for use during class.

*Spring Break* Bisqueware Painting Open Studio
This open studio option is specific for young artists that enjoy painting things! Bisqueware is pottery the has already been made and fired - your job is to creatively decorate the piece with your choice of glaze (paint) combinations. We've got lots of bisqueware pieces to choose from - giraffes, sharks, turtles, cats, bowls, mugs, vases, and more - and even more glazes to paint on them!
Drop off and pick up your kids at any point during open studio, or stay and hang out to support their creativity.
The fee for this class covers studio time only. Bisqueware prices vary; payment for pieces will happen at drop off. Cash or check preferred, credit card is accepted.

Sip & Paint Party
Join us for a delicious new experience at Farmington's own Willow Pond Winery! As with all Muddy Waters Studio classes and parties, our talented artist instructors will guide you step-by-step through this creation. Our friends from Willow Pond Winery invite you to try their farm-to-table, locally sourced wines. Available for purchase by the glass, you will be delighted to find a new favorite wine!

Van Gogh's Starry Night
Join us as we learn to paint our own version of one of the most iconic paintings of all time- Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh! Along the way, we will learn how to use brushstrokes and color like the 19th century post-Impressionists did, and discuss some of the history behind Starry Night and Van Gogh himself.
Skill Level and Age Range- Any! Come learn with us and paint starry night in your own unique way.

Kids Magnet Set - Cartoons
Ages: 6-14
Skill Level: BeginnerNeed an easy way to add personality to any flat magnetized surface? There are always magnets! In this class students ages 6 to 14 will be taught how to create their own cartoon themed magnets through coil rolling, clay pinching techniques, drawing in the clay with tools, and rolling out slabs. Once the magnets are made, students will be able to glaze their projects during class.

Gift Boxes for Adults
Ages: 18+
Skill Level: BeginnerSometimes it can be hard to find the perfect box for the perfect gift, so why not make one! In this class we will demonstrate how to roll out clay slabs, roll out coils, and use different pinching techniques for adult students to create their masterpieces. After students are done building their boxes, they will be able to glaze their projects.

Skill Level: BeginnerThere should always be room left in the garden for the fairies. In this class students of all ages will be taught how to make different additions to a fairy garden. Whether it be a hut, a bridge, tables, or chairs, fairies will have a space to sit. Instructions will include rolling out clay slabs, rolling out coils, and pinching the clay.
